IELTS Speaking & Writing Advanced Vocabulary (Band 7-8 Word Bank)
IELTS Vocabulary Master Guide (Complete 1000+ Words Explanation)
IELTS امتحان دنیا بھر میں English language proficiency کو measure کرنے کا ایک standard test ہے۔ اس میں چار بنیادی skills test کی جاتی ہیں: Listening, Reading, Writing اور Speaking۔ ان میں سے Writing اور Speaking وہ دو sections ہیں جہاں آپ کا vocabulary level سب سے زیادہ impact ڈالتا ہے۔اگر آپ simple English استعمال کرتے ہیں جیسے good, bad, big, small، تو examiner آپ کو limited vocabulary user سمجھتا ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ زیادہ تر students Band 5.5 سے Band 6.5 پر رک جاتے ہیں۔Band 7 یا Band 8 حاصل کرنے کے لیے آپ کو Lexical Resource کو strong بنانا ہوگا۔ اس کا مطلب ہے: – advanced words – academic vocabulary – topic-based expressions – natural sentence flowIELTS میں صرف مشکل لفظ استعمال کرنا کافی نہیں، بلکہ صحیح context میں استعمال کرنا ضروری ہے۔ مثلاً اگر آپ lucrative لفظ business context میں استعمال کریں تو یہ صحیح ہے، لیکن daily casual conversation میں غلط ہوگا۔ایک strong candidate ہمیشہ synonyms استعمال کرتا ہے: good → excellent / outstanding / remarkable bad → poor / terrible / unfavorable important → crucial / significant / essentialیہ تبدیلی آپ کے writing task 2 کو instantly high band level پر لے جاتی ہے۔مزید یہ کہ IELTS examiner grammar کے ساتھ ساتھ coherence بھی دیکھتا ہے۔ اگر آپ کے sentences logically connected ہیں اور vocabulary natural ہے تو آپ کا score بہتر ہوگا۔Practice strategy: 1. روز 10 نئے advanced words یاد کریں 2. ہر word کے 2 sentences بنائیں 3. speaking میں use کریں 4. writing essay میں کم از کم 5 advanced words شامل کریںیہ process 30 دن تک follow کریں تو آپ کی vocabulary level dramatically improve ہو جائے گی۔IELTS صرف امتحان نہیں بلکہ English communication skill کا test ہے۔ اس لیے goal صرف score نہیں بلکہ fluency اور clarity ہونی چاہیے۔
